Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science April 30 at Proctors

SCHENECTADY—APRIL 15, 2016—Television personality, author and Food Network star Alton Brown, who created a new form of entertainment with his first live culinary variety show, The Edible Inevitable, is headed to Proctors with the all new Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science tour.

Beginning in April 2016, the new live show will visit 40 U.S. cities. Brown’s first North American tour was a huge success, spanning two years and 100 cities with more than 150,000 foodies in attendance. Fans can expect all new everything from Eat Your Science, including songs; multimedia presentations; talk-show antics; and bigger and better potentially dangerous food demonstrations.

Critics and fans alike have raved about the interactive components of Brown’s shows. He promises “plenty of new therapy-inducing opportunities during our audience participation segments. I don’t want to give too much away, but this time we’re going to play a little game while we’re at it.”

Brown has a knack for mixing together a perfect base of science, music and food into two hours of pure entertainment. “Plus, you’ll see things I’ve never been allowed to do on TV.” He’s also contemplating more sophisticated protective gear for folks in the first few rows just in case things get messy…again.
