Help, hope

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Proctors team to support City Mission of Schenectady

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, starting immediately, $10 from all tickets* purchased for the Friday, Nov. 25 performances of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at Proctors—matinee and evening—will be donated to the City Mission of Schenectady to assist the organization’s efforts in providing “not only help for today, but hope for tomorrow.”

Proctors, is a partner with the mission in the successful Schenectady Ambassadors program. Other mission endeavors include community outreach, counseling, training, classes, and life and job skills training.

“The City Mission of Schenectady does so much for so many,” says Proctors CEO Philip Morris. “How could we not help them help others for the holidays? We’re grateful to The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time for joining with us on this effort, and thrilled that our patrons can enjoy such a powerful play while contributing to our community at the same time.”

Ben Brantley, of The New York Times, called the five-time Tony Award®-winning The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, “One of the most fully immersive works ever to wallop Broadway. Be prepared to have all your emotional and sensory buttons pushed, including a few you may have not known existed.”
