Tickets on sale for Outside Mullingar, Camelot, Reluctant Wingman and An Iliad
Tickets for four shows in the 2016-2017 KeyBank Subscription Series at Capital Repertory Theatre go on sale to the general public 10 a.m. Friday, June 10.
Single tickets for A Night With Janis Joplin, at theREP July 8–Aug. 7, have been on sale since early May. Beginning Friday, patrons will have the opportunity to purchase non-subscription seats for Outside Mullingar (September 23–October 16), Camelot (November 25–December 24), Reluctant Wingman (January 27–February 19, 2017) and An Iliad (March 10–April 2, 2017).
Beautiful–The Carole King Musical (at Proctors, April 12–16, 2017) remains available only by subscription.
Outside Mullingar, by Pulitzer Prize-winning Doubt author John Patrick Shanley, documents an unlikely romance between two rural, middle-aged neighbors ‘midst the farmlands of Ireland.
Seating for the beloved Tony Award-winning Camelot is sure to be scooped up quickly. Historic subscription rates, through theREP’s partnership with Proctors, have already filled many rows with fans eager to hear the classic score, featuring “If Ever I Would Leave You,” “The Simple Joys of Maidenhood,” “How to Handle a Woman” and, of course, “Camelot.”
Based on New York Times “Styles” columnist Bob Morris’ own memoir, Reluctant Wingman was the comedy hit of theREP’s NEXT ACT 4! New Play Summit, and is sure to win hearts across the Capital Region in this world premiere production!
And An Iliad uses stark, beautiful music to revisit the tale of The Trojan War through the eyes of an original and immediate narrator whose knowledge cuts across time. One man, one cello, one timeless story.
Tickets, $20-$70, go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, June 10, at the Box Office at Proctors, 432 State Street, Schenectady; by phone at 518.445.SHOW (7469); and online at capitalrep.org. Capital Repertory Theatre is located at 111 N. Pearl Street, Albany.
